The role
As Forward Action’s Partnerships Officer, you’ll support the Partnerships Director to build and maintain strong relationships with our partners, so we can help them achieve change on everything from climate change to refugee rights.
In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage the administration side of our partnerships, from initial contact and briefing, through proposal management, all the way to issuing contracts and drafting scopes. You’ll work across multiple projects and deadlines, managing processes, organising meetings, following up action points, and keeping accurate partnership records.
You’ll champion the partner experience and ensure we always deliver value. This includes meeting with organisations to explore their goals, and briefing colleagues on new partners’ needs. You’ll also lead on our marketing and webinar programme, coordinating plans and working with colleagues and freelancers to deliver outstanding content.

In recent years violent crime has risen significantly. Homicides, assaults, robberies and offences involving weapons have all seen sustained growth. We have also seen large increases in violent crime involving children and young people. This is a tragedy. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them.
The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is a charity with a £200m endowment and a mission that matters. We exist to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by funding great initiatives, finding what works and working for change – scaling up and spreading the practices that make a difference.
Our Change team does this by building excellent relationships and sharing evidence of what works with organisations and key individuals across the public, private, third sectors and local communities. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, proactive and highly organised Change and Events Officer to join our Change team to help us fulfil our mission.
Key responsibilities
Most fundamentally, your job is to work as a member of our Change team to make sure we’re excellent at running events and managing relationships with key stakeholders. You’ll make sure the team is incredibly organised and has the support it needs to work effectively. Key responsibilities:

The CHWS opened in 2022 with the aim of providing advice, information, and specialist support to Croydon residents with mental health concerns, who drop-in, or have been referred to the via the local Integrated Care Network Plus multi-disciplinary clinical and community mental health support teams.
The Advice Worker will be part of a friendly team, including support workers, crisis workers and clinical mental health professionals and function as the first point of access for visitors to the CHWS. Following an initial conversation to ascertain the clients’ needs, the Advice Worker will provide information and advice, as well as signposting and referrals to specialist services, such as the Mental Health Personal Independence Co-ordinators, Social Prescribers and Community Link Workers, in addition to the wider voluntary and statutory services in the borough. In the past five years of running our Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program, we have found that the best predictor of which incubated charities will end up causing the highest impact is the quality of the co-founding team. As we scale up, one of our biggest bottlenecks is identifying highly talented, value-aligned people out of the thousands of candidates from all over the world who apply to our programs. The difference in outcomes between a bad and a good hire can be huge, but this variation is even more extreme when it comes to co-founders. The initial staff of an organization set the pace, tone, and culture for the long-term. We estimate the impact of each average alumna/alumnus of our Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program to be equivalent to donating $200,000-350,000 USD / year to effective charities. Finding 20-30 of these gems each year is difficult but is incredibly impactful. As such, the Recruitment Manager is one of the most important roles we are hiring for.

THE ROLE
The Project Development Manager role is part of The Building Capacity Project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF), which seeks to develop the skills and capacity of communities on the west coast of Scotland to deliver the aims of the Alliance for Scotland’s Rainforest i.e. protect and restore Scotland’s globally important temperate rainforest. The Woodland Trust has secured funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) for this project's initial two-year ‘development’ phase.
The Project Development Manager will lead the development work, coordinating project partners to ensure the timely development of plans for the delivery and for the stage 2 funding bid to NLHF. They will oversee delivery of specific activities ensuring targets and timelines are adhered to and the prudent financial management of the development phase budget. They’ll produce reports and feedback to funders and the project board and steering group regarding progress as well as identifying opportunities to share best practice to maximise opportunities.
This is an 18 month fixed term position. Should our funding bid for the subsequent five-year ‘delivery’ phase be successful, we hope the PDM will remain in post to support the delivery of these plans.
THE CANDIDATE
You’ll have experience in project development, leadership and delivery in the environment, conservation or heritage sector including experience in managing contractors and consultants. You’ll have the ability to monitor, evaluate and learn from the project progress, using your excellent communication skills to report back to the funders and project board.

THE ROLE
The Engagement and Communications Officer (ECO) is part of an exciting new ‘Building Capacity Project’ which seeks to develop the skills and capacity of communities on the west coast of Scotland to deliver the aims of the Alliance for Scotland’s Rainforest i.e. protect and restore Scotland’s globally important temperate rainforest. The ECO will support the Project Development Manager, project team members and local staff working in three landscape-scale project ‘hubs’ (in Argyll, Morvern and Torridon). The role will provide opportunities for audiences to connect with Scotland’s rainforest and build the skills and capacity needed to sustainably restore it. This involves working with communities, organisations and specialists to a) raise awareness of Scotland’s rainforest, b) facilitate volunteering, on-the-job training and the sharing of learning about how to restore it, and c) inspire a long-term commitment to look after it.
The ECO will plan and deliver communications and engagement activities during the project's development phase, and support the Project Development Manager to create a comprehensive activity plan for the delivery phase. This includes surveying audiences to benchmark attitudes; managing a launch event; using existing (or establishing new) local and regional communication channels to reach audiences and share progress; co-developing with partners a series of meaningful engagement opportunities; supporting project ‘hubs’ to develop their own communications and engagement plans and monitoring the impact of project activities.

THE CANDIDATE

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team. You will work alongside the other Finance Officer to ensure that Richmond Borough Mind’s financial administration operates in an efficient and timely manner.
Working with Sage50 Cloud Accounting, you will process supplier invoices, payments and expenses by setting up BACS payments, standing orders and direct debits as necessary. You will assist with monthly accounts; preparing monthly payroll information and processing month end schedules as requested.
This role will see your existing financial accounting and administrative skills develop, working closely with the Head of Finance in the preparation of management accounts and budgets as well as ad hoc financial tasks.

Fundraising Events and Challenges Lead

Purpose of job:
The Fundraising Event and Challenges Lead is responsible for overseeing the fundraising events portfolio, developing and driving the strategy, and leading the delivery of a wide-ranging events and challenges portfolio to deliver ambitious organisational objectives and fundraising growth targets. This includes high-profile celebrity sporting and non-sporting challenge events alongside special events and mass-engagement events.
Key responsibilities:
· Leads the strategy setting and annual planning and budget setting for Comic Relief’s events, including building financial models, developing business cases and strategic plans.
· Lead the operational planning and implementation of fundraising events from ideation, through development and delivery, ensuring an agile approach to changing circumstances and to manage risk and maximise income opportunities.
· Manage and coach the events co-ordinator to support and deliver operational and fundraising activity across the portfolio to deliver against agreed plans and objectives.
· As appropriate, lead or work as part of cross-organisational matrix project teams to deliver all event fundraising elements including developing coherent narrative, fundraising marketing activity, supporter journeys and income/performance tracking and management.
· Lead and manage project teams of internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure all aspects of fundraising events are delivered effectively and successfully to deliver income targets.
· Procure and manage the day-to-day relationship with external delivery partners to ensure safe and successful development and delivery of events; this could include events logistic delivery partners, integration of external media broadcast outlets or television production companies.
· Working with the FR Events co-ordinator, supporting all operational elements of events including event plans, logistics, risk assessments, live content requirements, content delivery, health & safety, risk management and crisis management plans.
· Actively manage the fundraising event budgets, ensuring spend is monitored, reported, and reforecast, with cost saving opportunities leveraged to maximise net income.
· Operate as a champion of fundraising events within the wider organisation proactively identifying, sourcing and helping to embed new ways of working, tools and approaches that drive and optimise income from fundraising events across an array of target audiences.
· Foster a culture of high performance and build organisational event fundraising expertise. Work across the organisation to ensure each challenge/event is audience focused and all opportunities to maximise income are explored through a test, learn and iterate approach where data, learning and insight is used to make informed decisions and actioned swiftly. Ensure knowledge is systematised and shared across the organisation for maximum impact.
· Working as a lead within the Fundraising Directorate, work with colleagues to ensure all activity is appropriately integrated within the wider fundraising plans and portfolio, targeted to agreed audiences appropriately and designed and delivered in a way that maximises engagement and lifetime value.
People Management
· Provide balanced, constructive feedback, undertake effective performance management to embed accountability and proactively support the professional development and growth of staff.

East London Apartments provides 24 hour accommodation based support for up to 31 individuals with complex histories, multiple traumas, complex personality disorder(s) and a varied, disrupted housing history with experience of homelessness as well as individuals who have been diagnosed with severe and enduring mental health conditions who are under the Care Programme Approach (CPA).
