• Developing research methodologies and conducting analysis that provide insight into charitable opportunities in the UK and internationally that align with our charitable objects

• Establishing and embedding aligned and integrated social development processes that provide direction and guidance for undertaking charitable activities, including consideration of safeguarding procedures

• Contributing towards an organisation-wide communications strategy that showcases NEBOSH as a prominent health and safety education charity.

• Monitoring the social purpose programme budget including clearly reporting on both used and committed funds.

Elders Voice is a local charity serving older people in Brent. We are recruiting a CEO to lead our talented and experienced staff team through a period of change to ensure our financial security.

Elders Voice is an established and trusted charity in the heart of Kensal Green. We believe ageing should be a wonderful and worthwhile journey, but for that to happen older people need to feel safe and happy in their homes and have access to affordable activities in an environment that embraces their differences.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver a new Partners development strategy to secure significant gifts from individuals.

About the team

Shelter’s mature fundraising team has seen continuous year on year growth. The directorate generates over £65m gross income, of which a high percentage is unrestricted, giving us an exceptional level of investment flexibility. This particular role sits within our High Value Partnerships division, which includes Philanthropy, Trusts & Foundations, Legacies, and Corporate Partnerships fundraising specialists. It will also see you work closely with colleagues in a Retail team that’s responsible for a network of 80 charity shops and boutique stores that are the face of Shelter on the high street.

About the role

An ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in a career in corporate fundraising or charity retail, you’ll play a key role in developing Shelter’s retail presence and raising vital funds. You’ll be responsible for enabling stock donations from major retailers, and helping research and develop new relationships with businesses to generate stock and secure their expertise on a pro-bono basis. Thinking strategically, identifying new opportunities, and bringing ideas and concepts to life through written proposals and pitches to businesses in order to generate support for Shelter – all are aspects of a role that will also see you ensure the smooth running of our Stock Generation administration processes and help the Senior New Corporate Partnerships Manager - Retail, with day-to-day activities.

About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of the Policy and Public Affairs team, during an election year, delivering a number of vital pieces of research designed to improve walking, wheeling and cycling and transport more broadly.  

As the Policy Officer, you will lead on delivering two key policy projects for Sustrans with support from our Head of Policy and Senior Policy Officer. You will help develop evidence, policy and practice working closely with colleagues to maximise long-term opportunities to help increase transport choice for people. 

We offer true hybrid working, a flexible mix of working from home and occasional travel to a nearby office hub with an expectation of a monthly team meeting in Bristol and occasional travel for project related activity. 

This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.

About you

• Significant operational experience in mass-market PR, as a print or broadcast journalist, or equivalent professional media communications experience

About us:

Colostomy UK is a national charity that offers support and advice to people who have had stoma surgery (ostomates) and those who care about them. We help ostomates to return to sports, hobbies and other activities after surgery, and give them the confidence to return to a full life and take on fresh challenges. Our campaigns raise awareness of life with a stoma and encourage organisations to make their facilities more inclusive.

About the role:

As the Fundraising Executive you will work to grow income through developing our community engagement, attracting, building and managing relationships with a range of supporters (individual donors and fundraisers, community groups, local businesses, volunteers etc). You will lead on the stewardship of events and challenges, including our annual Step Up campaign, by supporting individuals and groups to raise funds through fundraising activities. The post-holder will also support the recording of donations, send appropriate acknowledgements, review fundraising materials, and prepare fundraising content for social media, our website and our quarterly magazine, Tidings. The right candidate will be in a prime position for career progression as we grow our small team.

We are looking for a motivated, confident individual with strong organisational skills and an impeccable attention to detail, who is passionate about supporting people living with stomas and those who care about them. The successful applicant will be expected to have a broad understanding of a range of income generation methods and communication styles, and the third sector. About the role:

MAG is for looking for a highly motivated and dynamic and experienced governance professional who will contribute to the continuous development and growth of the organisation, to join the team as our Head of Governance. You will provide high-quality, strategic corporate governance advice and operational secretariat support to MAG’s Board of Trustees and Leadership Team to ensure that our governance arrangements are efficient and effective as well as comply with regulatory and internal requirements and sector best practice. About you:

You will have experience of working with the Charity Commission and as a Data Protection Officer. Additionally, your ability to analyse and interpret complex data and present written and verbal information in a clear and concise manner is an essential aspect of this role.

You must be able to advise Boards and Executives comprehensively and succinctly on corporate governance matters and excel at building and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues across all levels of an organisation and key external stakeholders (e.g. regulators and external advisors). Experience of having worked for an international NGO or comparable organisation is ideal not essential.

As Grants and Bids Manager, you will manage statutory funding applications of five, six and seven figure multi-year income compliant with commissioner/funder requirements and oversee the project management of applications – managing timelines, activities, delegating tasks and ensuring stakeholders meet them, support decision-making through providing relevant and informed advice and producing high quality funding proposals and applications.

This role sits in the Trust’s Business Development/Nature Based Solutions (NBS) team, an innovative new team focused on county wide recovery and green finance investment within the county of Surrey. This role will also manage the Trusts internal and external processes around Green Finance and drive forward investment in nature at a landscape level.  

As a senior role reporting into the Director of Business Development and Partnerships; practical experience of green finance including biodiversity net gain is essential; experience will also need to include demonstrable examples of project managing medium/large scale projects, contract management, financial analysis and working in a fast paced environment.
