About the role:

The Achieving Potential programme at SHP supports SHP clients with options and opportunities to build their confidence, learn new skills and try new things. We are recruiting to an exciting new post within our team, having recently secured funding to take forward our digital inclusion offer.

People experiencing homelessness are often from the most socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds and are digitally excluded. Digital access is crucial for peoples’ independence – e.g. accessing Universal Credit or GPs, but it’s also fundamental in addressing isolation and loneliness. Feeling connected to others can be the difference between someone continuing their journey out of homelessness or falling back into drug-use due to isolation/loneliness – we want to break the vicious cycle between digital and social exclusion.  

As the Digital Inclusion Project Coordinator, your objectives will be to spearhead initiatives aimed at increasing digital inclusion within SHP’s diverse communities. This multifaceted role requires a blend of strategic planning, community engagement, technological proficiency, and environmental stewardship. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders from both withing SHP and externally to develop and implement sustainable solutions that bridge the digital divide and minimize the environmental impact of electronic waste.

About you:

• Demonstrated experience in community outreach, project management, and stakeholder engagement, preferably in the fields of digital inclusion, sustainability, or social justice.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage with diverse audiences and communicate complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
• Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities to identify barriers, develop innovative solutions, and address complex challenges related to digital exclusion and e-waste management.
• Willingness to embrace change, navigate ambiguity, and adapt strategies in response to evolving priorities, emerging trends, and feedback from stakeholders and community members.
• Confidence to promote the benefits of the digital world and to challenge traditional silos and system barriers, as well as the ability to use different approaches and methods of communication with different stakeholder in order to achieve this
• The willingness and ability to provide flexible support, including support in the community and a variety of settings
• Proven ability to cultivate and maintain productive partnerships with different agencies, non-profit organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders to leverage resources

We are in the early stages of implementing our 10-year organisational strategy, ARUK: Towards a Cure. Sitting within the Chief Executive’s Office and reporting to the Project and Programme Manager, the Project Officer supports the scoping, planning, and delivery of strategic, cross-team projects and programmes. The post holder also supports the Project and Programme Manager in embedding project management best practice across the wider organisation.   

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Project Management

· Deliver key, strategic projects, as determined by the yearly Operational Planning process, working with project teams to develop flexible project plans that can adapt to change. 

· Manage project risks, decisions, and dependencies, liaise with third parties, and monitor project progress, ensuring stakeholders are updated at key checkpoints. 

· Lead project reviews to capture successes and learnings and ensure project outcomes are embedded into BAU. 

· Support the Project and Programme Manager and Head of Programme Management on other ongoing projects and programmes as and when required.

Promotion of project management best practice

· Maintain ownership of the Projects team intranet pages and project management resources, for use by colleagues across the organisation. 

· Provide tailored project management consultations to empower colleagues to deliver their own in-team projects. 

· Support the Project and Programme Manager on delivering the ARUK Project Management Masterclass.

What we are looking for:

· Experience managing projects, including allocating tasks and managing risks, decisions, and changes. 

· Sound knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).

· Demonstrable ability to work with and influence a variety of different internal and external stakeholders at all levels. 

· Working knowledge of project management tools, such as Excel, Smartsheet, MS Projects or similar. 

· Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build relationships, trust, and inspire confidence and respect at all levels.

· Strong team player who can work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.

· Excellent planning and organisational skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload and reprioritise work in accordance with the organisation’s needs.

· Excellent listening skills, demonstrating flexibility, curiosity, and an ability to learn.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals.  This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

The Role

My Life My Choice (MLMC) is a multi-award-winning self-advocacy charity uniquely run by and for people with learning disabilities, founded in 1998.  The charity delivers a diverse range of innovative user led projects that enhance and empower the lives of adults with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire.  These established projects include a fee earning training and consultancy Professional Services team, gig buddy, travel buddy scheme, a nightclub, campaigns and self-advocacy groups.

 Role summary

The Project Development Officer (PDO) will work within the Inter Mediate Projects Team under the guidance of the Projects Directors and coordination with the Deputy CEO, Operations Team and CEO, to:

• Support and implement Inter Mediate’s existing projects portfolio supporting peace talks and other high-level peace initiatives.
• Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders in conflict and peace processes, mainly in Africa and the Middle East
• Identify and develop entry points for new projects.
• Monitor and analyse political developments across areas relevant to Inter Mediate’s work.
• Research lessons from past peace efforts relevant to Inter Mediate’s current work.
• Support the Operations Team and Project Directors to prepare project proposals and budgets, narrative and financial reporting, and collect evidence of project impact.

Specific responsibilities:

•  Contribute to strategies to deliver Inter Mediate projects and institutional priorities.
• Support the Project Directors to cultivate and maintain relationships with key interlocutors and relevant experts in the field.
• Undertake travel, including to conflict settings.
• Draft high quality policy memos, speeches and concept notes for senior audiences.
• Provide logistical support for project delivery, including managing travel of project teams, interlocutors and consultants.
• Monitor media, think tanks and other analysis centres on conflict dynamics, and produce briefings and analytic papers for the CEO ahead of travel or engagement with key interlocutors.
• Oversee production of research papers on peacemaking lessons, based on demand from interlocutors.
• Scope for potential new projects and develop new project feasibility studies.
• Support the Project Directors and Operations Team in donor management and project accountability, including contributing to preparation of project proposals and budgets, and reporting in line with donor requirements.
• Compile project progress reports for senior management/trustees’ meetings.
• Represent IM in external contexts where necessary.
• Undertake other tasks in support of IM’s work overall as required.

Experience, qualifications and skills:

 Successful candidates would need to demonstrate:

• A masters degree in politics, conflict resolution and peacebuilding, international affairs, public policy or an equivalent subject. Relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu.
• Three years of work experience in conflict resolution or peace process support for a governmental, non-governmental or inter-governmental organisation, or an equivalent field such as diplomacy, humanitarian access, political risk advisory services, conflict journalism or conflict analysis. Experience relevant to West Africa and Middle East preferred.
• Excellent written English, and evidence of ability to produce high-quality written work to deadline.
• A strong understanding of political and conflict dynamics – particularly Africa and the Middle East - and the ability to produce well-structured and concise analysis
• Ability to operate successfully in high pressure, sensitive political environments and support high-level individuals
• Experience of work and travel in conflict-affected areas, and willingness to travel independently, with support from the Project Directors.
• Evidence of strong cross-cultural interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to support the smooth running of a small team, and willingness to take an “all hands on deck” approach when required.
• Fluency in French and/or Arabic or other languages (desirable)

About the role:

MAG is for looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced project manager to be a strategic business partner with leaders and senior managers across MAG, to lead, drive and support a coordinated approach to the design, delivery and evaluation of sustainable business change, and associated projects, that contribute to the delivery of MAG’s strategy. This role will be responsible for the delivery, integration/coordination and communication of cross organisational projects and change management initiatives. Ensuring that they are delivered in accordance with MAG’s vision, mission and values. 

This is a new role, in MAG’s Governance and Business Transformation department, which is responsible for driving, fostering and helping build a culture of change and project management at MAG. As this is a new role, it is initially for a two-year contract subject to review.

About you:

The successful candidate will be a qualified project manager and have a recognised change management certification or qualification. You will have significant experience of leading and or supporting all aspects of small to large-scale and simple to complex, integrated business change and process improvement initiatives, using relevant change and project management approaches. You are, focused, pragmatic, and someone who excels at engaging and working with colleagues at all levels on multiple cross-organisational projects. Experience of having worked for an international NGO or comparable organisation is ideal, not essential. 

Fluency in English is required, competency in another language is beneficial.

Job Purpose:

The Project Development Manager will be the main point of contact for the collaboration. They will be responsible for implementing and delivering the project plan, monitoring, evaluations, reporting, all systems and processes, coordinating meetings, etc and for generating income through (mainly) Corporate partnerships but may include some Trusts and High Value individuals. These partners will be with organisations/individuals who would otherwise be outside the reach of any of the three charities individually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create systems and processes for administering and managing the functions of the partnership.
• Ensure regular project group meetings take place.
• Lead on the promotion of the brand and communications activities in conjunction with the communications experts on the project group.
• Monitor website and social media activity.
• Promote and implement activities to increase the profile of the collaboration.
• Identify, add and manage a pipeline of prospective funders.
• Develop and implement a strategic income generation plan to and achieve annual revenue targets.
• Use the data base to manage reporting, indicator evaluation and to manager GDPR, Gift Aid (where appropriate) etc.
• Regularly report against the agreed KPI’s in the strategic income generation plan.
• Provide fortnightly written updates on activity.
• Identify and pursue prospective partners through research, networking and outreach.
• Develop tailored partnership proposals and pitches that articulate the mutual benefits to potential partners.
• Manage cultivation cycle - qualify, pitch, negotiate and close new business opportunities.
• Steward and renew existing partner relationships through exceptional account management.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop co-branded campaigns, marketing assets and employee engagement initiatives.
• Track and report on fundraising activities including pipeline, projections and results.
• Develop fundraising marketing materials and content for website, social media, etc.

We are looking for a vibrant outward thinking and dynamic Project Co-ordinator who is self motivated and can work with minimal supervision on an exciting project that will provide evidence and information for future funding applications. 

Overall Purpose of the role:

 The Project Co-ordinator will be responsible for liaison with the Project Team and consultants on the delivery of a number of studies and activities as part of a National Lottery Heritage Fund award. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Role Specific

· New Jetty Project

•  Lead on the New Jetty Project reporting to the Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager
•  Revising project work plans for the Jetty Project as appropriate, to meet changing needs and requirements with Management Team.
• Business Plan and Feasibility Study
• Supporting Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager on managing the day-to-day operational aspects of The National Lottery Heritage Fund resilience project. 
• Ensuring the Management Team keeps to schedules and agreed project plan. 
• Collect and organise data that is required for Management Team and Consultants
• Monitor expenses ensuring budgets are not overspent.
• Keeping details of all budgets.

· To create and maintain a log of work records, in an agreed way, ensuring all tasks are undertaken within pre defined time parameters

· Maintaining an online filing system for all elements of work plan

· Scheduling and attending meetings where required.

· Being the key point of contact for The National Lottery Heritage Fund

· Manage own diary and annualised hours contract.

· Update Social Media as requested.
